Overview

Mapei Adesilex G19 is a two-component, epoxy-polyurethane adhesive designed for installing resilient & textile floor coverings and for bonding rubber athletic tracks. The system is suitable for internal and external use on both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.

Technical data

Application (summary)

1. Ensure substrate is sound, level, clean and dry; remove dust, oils, and friable parts.
2. Mix components thoroughly at the stated 94:6 (A:B) ratio until a uniform paste is obtained.
3. Apply with a suitable MAPEI/ TKB notched trowel (see table above).
4. Lay the covering within the 50–60 minute pot life. Roll to ensure full transfer.
5. Allow to set. Light traffic after 12–24 h; fully serviceable in about 3 days.

Approx. 0.35–1.0 kg/m² depending on substrate levelness, back of covering and trowel type.

Packaging & colours

• 5 kg and 10 kg drums.
• Colours: Component A – beige, red, green, black; Component B – transparent.
